Using templates for notes and docs

Templates save you from starting from a blank page every time. Cloviq comes with a built-in library — and you can create your own.

Using a Cloviq template

  1. Create a new note and click Use template at the top of the blank page
  2. Browse the template library by category
  3. Click Preview to see the template before selecting
  4. Click Use this template — the note will be pre-populated with the template structure

Creating your own template

  1. Create and format a note exactly as you want the template to look
  2. Click the menu in the top right of the note
  3. Select Save as template
  4. Give it a name and choose a category
  5. It will now appear in your template library under My templates

Team templates for Grove and Canopy

Grove and Canopy admins can publish templates to the entire organisation. Team templates appear in a shared section of the library, ensuring everyone uses consistent formats.

Tips

  • The most popular Cloviq templates are: Weekly review, 1:1 meeting notes, Project kickoff brief, Decision log, and Client onboarding checklist.
  • Templates can include pre-set tasks — great for repeatable project workflows.
