Collaborating on documents in real time

Up to 50 people can edit a Cloviq note simultaneously. Here is how collaborative editing works.

Real-time editing

When multiple people have a note open, you will see each collaborator cursor in a different colour with their name attached. Changes appear instantly for everyone — no refreshing, no version conflicts.

Comments and mentions

Highlight any text in a note and click the comment icon to add a threaded comment. Use @mention to notify a specific teammate.

  1. Select the text you want to comment on
  2. Click the comment icon in the floating toolbar
  3. Type your comment and optionally mention a teammate
  4. Hit Post — they will receive a notification

Version history

Cloviq saves a full version history for every note on Bloom and above. To restore a previous version: open the note, click the menu in the top right, select Version history, and choose a version to preview or restore.

Sharing a note

Click Share in the top right of any note to generate a shareable link. You can set the link to allow view-only or edit access. Notes can also be published publicly as a web page.

Tips

  • Resolved comments are hidden by default but can be shown again from the Comments panel.
  • Use the note change history to understand what was edited and by whom.
