Creating and managing workspaces

Workspaces are the top-level containers in Cloviq. Think of them as separate rooms — each one holds its own projects, notes, and files.

Creating a new workspace

  1. Click the + icon next to Workspaces in the sidebar
  2. Give it a name and choose an emoji or colour to identify it quickly
  3. Choose its visibility: Private (just you), Shared (invite specific people), or Team (visible to your whole Grove or Canopy organisation)
  4. Click Create workspace

Managing workspace settings

Open any workspace and click the menu next to its name in the sidebar to access settings. From here you can rename it, change its colour, adjust member permissions, or archive it.

Archiving vs deleting a workspace

Archiving hides a workspace from your sidebar but keeps all its content intact. Deleting is permanent. We strongly recommend archiving over deleting unless you are certain.

Tips

  • Drag workspaces up and down in the sidebar to reorder them.
  • Use emojis at the start of workspace names for quick visual scanning.
