Cloviq is designed to be fast. If it feels slow, here are the most common causes and how to fix them.
Check your internet connection first
Cloviq needs a reasonable internet connection for real-time sync and loading content. Test your speed at fast.com — if it is under 5Mbps that may be the cause.
Clear your browser cache
On Chrome: press Cmd+Shift+Delete on Mac or Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows, select Cached images and files, and click Clear data. Then reload Cloviq.
Too many browser extensions
Some browser extensions conflict with web apps and cause slowness. Try opening Cloviq in an incognito or private window — if it is faster there, an extension is the likely cause. Disable extensions one by one to identify the culprit.
Large workspaces
Workspaces with thousands of tasks and notes can feel slower to load. Archive completed projects you no longer need. Use folders to group content and reduce what loads in the sidebar.
Check Cloviq system status
Occasionally performance issues are on our end. Check status.cloviq.com to see if there is an active performance incident.
Tips
- Cloviq works best on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Edge is supported but may occasionally be slower.
- The desktop app (available on Mac and Windows) is generally faster than the browser for heavy use.
