Seen an error message and not sure what it means? Here is a plain-English guide to the most common ones.
Something went wrong — please try again
This is a generic error that usually resolves itself. Refresh the page and try again. If it persists, check the Cloviq status page at status.cloviq.com to see if there is an ongoing incident.
You do not have permission to view this
You are trying to access a workspace, project, or note that you have not been given access to. Ask the owner to invite you or check you are signed into the correct account.
Your session has expired
For security, Cloviq signs you out after a period of inactivity. Sign back in to continue. Your work is always saved automatically so nothing is lost.
File size exceeds limit
Individual file attachments are limited to 100MB on all plans. Compress the file or use a cloud storage link instead (Google Drive or OneDrive links have no size limit).
This workspace has reached its limit
You are on the Seedling plan which allows up to 3 workspaces. Archive an existing workspace or upgrade to Bloom to remove the limit.
Sync conflict detected
Two edits were made to the same item from different devices at the same time. Cloviq will show you both versions and ask which one to keep. This is rare but can happen when editing offline.
Tips
- When contacting support about an error, include the error message text and what you were doing when it appeared — this helps us diagnose much faster.
- Bookmark status.cloviq.com to check for incidents before contacting support.
