How to report a bug to our team

Found a bug? We genuinely want to know. Here is how to report it in a way that helps us fix it fast.

How to report a bug

  1. Go to Help > Report a bug from the main menu or contact us via live chat
  2. Describe what you were trying to do when the bug occurred
  3. Describe what you expected to happen
  4. Describe what actually happened
  5. Include your browser and operating system if reporting via web
  6. Attach a screenshot or screen recording if possible — this helps enormously

What happens after you report

Our support team triages all bug reports daily. We will acknowledge your report within your plan SLA. If it is a known issue we will let you know and add you to the update list. If it is new we will escalate to our engineering team and keep you updated on progress.

Urgent bugs

If the bug is preventing you from working — for example you cannot access your account or have lost data — use the Urgent option in the bug report form or contact us directly via live chat. We treat these as P1 incidents.

Tips

  • A screen recording is worth a thousand words for bug reports — QuickTime on Mac and Xbox Game Bar on Windows can record your screen for free.
  • Check the Cloviq community forum before reporting — someone else may have already found a workaround.
